Drive time Lemon and Bridgecrest payments
2
Long story short, I went to pick up my vehicle and the horn didn't work. They sent it to the shop and was asked to return the next day. I called the next day and it was not ready. They said they were changing the oil, updating the software and cleaning the car. The car was ready 2 days later. Within 24 hours of driving off the lot, I called the dealer because I heard a strange noise when turning the wheel to make a hard right turn. I was told the salesman was not available. I drove back 2 days later and was told to take it to the shop drive time uses. I was announced I was not getting any help. The car was under warranty, so I took it to a Lincoln dealer shop. They were so disappointed that drivetime sold me the car in poor shape. They had the car for over 3weeks. I called drivetime everyday for 2 weeks. They said the salesmen was away. I called twice in one day from a different number and gave a different name asking for him. I said I saw a vehicle on line I wanted to purchase. To my surprise he answered the call. After I told him the issue with car he said he was way and I should take it to the shop. No support at all. On another note I made all payments to Bridgecrest on time for over 4 yrs. One month I paid 2 weeks ahead of time because I was not working that summer and was reported the next month for none payment to the credit bureaus. The payment said it was for the next month under the payment option listed. I disputed the error and called Bridgecrest asking them to fix the error. I was told next time don't make payments 2weeks before the due date! My credit score dropped and I begged them to fix the error. I called them 3 times. Two service representatives said they would submit the request because they could see the error on the Bridgecrest site and they do honor early payments. It was never corrected and the dispute with the credit bureaus stayed the same!
