I moved from New York to South Carolina and used Expedite movers from New Jersey. This was a huge mistake !!! They are horrible scam artists who rip you off and steal your belongings . They are holding 25 of my boxes hostage and broke the rest . They arrived drunk and high and forced me to sign the form or else they wouldnt release my belongings ! They arrived at 845 at night in the dark and they couldnt see the inventory tags since they were incoherent ! They never strapped my stuff in and put tools and ladders on my totes crushing and pulverizing precious antiques , photos family heirlooms and my childrens sports memorabilia , dvds and furniture . They took everything and even named items in missing boxes and conveniently said they never saw those boxes ! Ha scam artists! They dumped what was left off the truck infront of my storage unit and left in two hours ! They claimed storage unit was too cold because it was air conditioned ! Then they complained it was too hot outside ! They told my children to climb in the truck if they wanted their stuff ! That is a total liability and uncalled for ! They refuse to answer my calls Laughed and joked like this was a game ! One salesperson Directed my call to Jonathan and it went to his cell ! He yelled at me for calling him at home when in fact I called the company ! Jonathan is the supervisor and John as well ! They ridicule and mock women and use threats like you cant get your stuff until you sign paperwork ! They lied about everything and I called them immediately about the intoxicated movers and lost items ! They overcharged me twice because they didnt have change of a hundred . They said I was *** to get my stuff on truck ! Really again lies since my kids and I spent the night at storage unit moving our items into the unit , since these movers refused to do their job ! We left storage unit at 4am ! They are the worlds worst moving company and they dont have any customer service skills ! They offered me 250 dollars for over 40000 dollars worth of items that they stole broke or sold along I-95 to support their substance abuse habit ! Just disgusting and this company should be shut down immediately for theft And false advertising ! They claimed they were a reputable company that had an outstanding record ! Ha thats true it must be a criminal record ! I am a single mom living below the poverty level and my children and I were scammed and robbed ! How do these people sleep at night robbing poor women and children ?Just gross !
