dolphin – unreasonable unethical charges

I took out a local telephone number service with them a year ago. I was told verbally over the phone by the sales team that I can cancel at any time. Well the monthly fee and verbal terms and conditions sound great to me. Just over a year on I find myself in a similar situation. I emailed Dan Mellor Commercial Manager to cancel my account and he emails me back stating I need to give 3 months notice. So I replied saying thats fine and then he whacked on first £50 then £60. He says I am on a rolling 12 month contract but they have never sent me any t & C or documentations stating this. I have just emailed him to ask what this money is for and awaiting a reply. Im very upset. What should I do? Did anyone ever pay back the excess fees he is charging? Has of com, Ombudsman or any authorities investigated this company. Did anyone get any response back to their official complaints? Has anyone gone through the court system, what happened? Please contact me with best course of action or any advise.
