Do not use Arborcoat

1

Arborcoat was recommended by our architect for a very expensive gate and trellis we had built out of clear cedar. We followed the instructions from our Benjamin Moore dealer: two coats of white Arborcoat and a top coat of clear Arborcoat. The gate and trellis are now streaked with yellow due to the top clear coat. BM customer service stated that it was the clear cedar. Really? With two under coats of white? They really dont stand behind their products. Will never use or recommend Benjamin Moore again. User's recommendation: Don’t use Benjamin Moore Arborcoat paint—poor quality.
