Warrantee Solutions offers products for auto service plans. My Wife purchased a plan when she purchased her car a few years back. Halfway through the service plan the engine begins to run rough, Repair company observed same rough running conditions of the engine and finds metal shavings in the oil. Under the instruction of the Warrantee Solutions the repair company begins to do basic work to inspect the engine for obvious wear and tear. They are unable to determine the source of the metal in the oil. Warrantee Solutions then requires the engine removed and a complete tear down be conducted to determine the source of the issues. Repair company is unable to determine source of metal shavings in oil or reason engine runs rough just that the engine was likely in this condic. Warrantee Solutions denies claim and leaves my wife with the bill for the work already done not including the work required to repair/replace the engine. DO NOT PURCHASE SERVICE PLANS FROM WARRANTEE SOLUTIONS, they will find any way possible not to pay the claim. At least they are allowing her to cash out her plan for half the purchase value.
