Dishonesty should not prevail in the hotel business; clients hate to be cheated!

Our personal experience has led us to believe that residence santa Giulia palace in porto vecchio, corsica operates without integrity and honesty. It’s hard to understand how any establishment believes they can get away with cheating a perspective client. We made a reservation through booking.com for a stay at residence santa ciulia palace in porto vecchio, corsica. Their published agreement with booking clearly states that full refunds on cancellations will be given up to 30 days before the stay. Due to a change of plans we canceled our reservation five months prior to our arrival. Weeks after our cancellation, the property continued to refuse posting a refund to my visa account. Despite countless emails and phone calls they evaded booking’s numerous requests. On one occasion they informed booking.com that a refund had been given when in fact nothing had been received by visa. Morally and legally they’re bound to honor their agreement, but ignored all attempts to end this matter in what appeared in our eyes as evasive behavior; perhaps they were hoping we’d forget or not want to bother to pursue the matter. While this property has a high rating for comfort, in our esteem it has a low rating for integrity. It’s our belief that this property should be avoided.
