Trouble with Corkys Pest Control, 1. authorized and gave CC info for $175 to cover 1st 3 visits and begin monthly service... they charged me $244(?) 2. when I called they "quite by accident" mentioned they would check my recorded call and get back to me - that was the first I heard of that and immediately requested a digital copy for myself stating I was now unsure of the quoted monthly service either being $59 or $69 a month and since they overcharged me the initial payment, I now wanted to confirm the monthly. --- they agreed. 3. Next interaction was a voicemail stating that they listened to the recording and I was correct and they had refunded me the $69 difference. I immediately called them back and again requested the digital file for myself for the same reason stated above... wanting to now confirm what I was quoted from the initial sales call.... Elizabeth (their customer service rep) with a raised voice asked WHY I needed the file since they already refunded me the money -I started to explain again and before I was finished she flat out told me she was NOT going to send me the file... I told her something to the affect of "maybe I should subpoena it from her, she began yelling at me and hung up. 4. That was on Thursday Feb. 28th, Friday Mar. 1st I received a voicemail stating they had cancelled my service due to non-payment, yet they already had my CC on file for the service I signed up for ???? and had already previously charged my card without issue. I have saved this VM from Elizabeth. The following day Sat. Mar. 2nd I called and spoke to Veronica(? - have it written down somewhere) and explained I wanted a full refund and very specifically why, she agreed and completely threw Elizabeth "under the bus" on how she handles customer service, yells at customers and does what she wants without regard to policy. 5. Checking my bank statement I did NOT receive a full refund but instead they charged me $69 and refunded the difference - I am assuming this is for the initial visit / service. If this is true A. the deal was for 3 pest control visits in a 1 month period, I had 1 of those B. I had one visit and they picked up their traps and charged me without giving the results of the period the traps were set C. Is this not a violation of Privacy? Breach of Contract? Discrimination? User's recommendation: Call Someone Else.
