I am thoroughly disgusted by recent ads (February 2021) on the internet for Disney resorts showing children in face masks. This forcing of children to wear these humiliating muzzles does not prevent the transmission of any virus (much less one of questionable scientific authenticity not known to cause mortality in healthy children) and can only be described as child abuse. Studies have shown that face masks significantly reduce oxygen intake, and in children with developing brains, can cause permanent irreparable brain damage due to this reduced oxygen intake. I would urge parents and guardians to do their own research into face masks and their health risks. This forcing of children into face muzzles has no basis in science and seems to me to be a sinister attempt to remove children's sense of dignity and individuality as well as being a disgusting mark of compliance with tyranny as the yellow stars were in Nazi Germany. Such blatant child abuse CANNOT be allowed to become the "new normal'- children should be free to breathe fresh air and interact normally with their families and friends. The long- term negative psychological impact of the past twelve months of lunacy on children cannot be underestimated and a return to the real normal must be undertaken before our children are scarred for life. I would ask all parents and guardians to boycott Disney products and businesses until these disgusting ads are removed. Many thanks!
