Difficulty in buying from you – Complaint

I wish to purchase a trellis for new climbing plant. On your website it seems that either of two products would suit. Item 353719 Grey Trellis (£10); or item 357139 Tatton Squares (£12.99). Yesterday I went to your branch at Winterstoke Road, Bristol, where there was no stock of either. I purchased a flimsy expanding (£2) trellis (there were just three there) as a temporary fix but it is like a toy and cannot be permanent. I have tried every way to locate stock: it is not as easy as 'pop down to your local B&M' to see latest offers, as your phone message advises. I could spend many hours touring branches in the city and still find there these items are not available for sale. I am elderly and have only just started to go out to shops. Just now your phone line just says, try later for customer service; but my guess is that there will never be anyone to help, locate stock and advise the customer. Individual stores are similarly impossible to contact, so why have phone numbers anyway? Opening hours are hardly difficult to find and no other useful information is made accessible by you. Surely your customer service could be made more real and helpful in these stressful times. Your consideration and response will be appreciated. J Scott
