Did not deliver on any content

1

I was trying to research my ancestry over the past 100 years. Newspaper Archive delivered many seemingly promising hits showing a lot of relevant content in local paper archives, accessible only behind a paywall. I paid for a one-month subscription to access this content, but was not actually able to view any of it. The link to every article I clicked was broken - they either brought me to an "error" page, or another page with totally irrelevant keyword searches, which still did not let me view any of the articles. I requested an immediate refund, which they're apparently unable to do because of their policy to not allow refunds. I understand the business model would require this type of agreement, so long as they're actually delivering with content. If customers don't actually get any value out of the service, they should not be charged. That's common sense.
