Deplorable Customer Service – Entirely unprofessional

Went into the dealership and quickly found a car I liked, a Camry. Knowing my credit is not great due to medical debts (Only negatives on my credit, student loans, credit card, etc all paid on time and current) I took a co-signer with me. Traded in my car, signed the contract, paid a down payment, and left. Three weeks later I was called and told they needed to switch banks. At this time my co-signer had moved so it was a coordination effort but we got all the paperwork signed. Keep in mind that I was returning calls promptly but the finance person was ALWAYS unavailable or too busy to talk or on their "day off" even if they had just called me. I was then told they never received the necessary paperwork by a sales man, calling from his personal cell phone, requesting I send all my pay stubs, bank statements, etc to his PERSONAL Gmail account. At that point I got upper management involved. I did not hear anything from them after that was "resolved" and I called to check that everything went through to ensure I avoided another mess like the previous one. I was told everything was fine and approved and I could expect a statement. Then I was called two weeks after that and told the bank had taken issue with something with my co-signer, and that I (Now 5 weeks after the sale) needed a new co-signer. I found a new co-signer the next day and we re-submitted for the loan. I was then called on the weekend and told the loan could not be approved because the new co-signer lived in another state. NO idea what that has to do with anything at all, and I'm also clueless as to why they couldn't tell me that prior to running credit, but at that point I was so frustrated I just said I'm done, I will just bring the car back. You cannot trust these people, and you cannot get them to respond to your calls without getting someone higher up involved. Their business practices are ridiculous, they are shady when it comes to what they charge you for their vehicles, and I do not know anyone who has gotten a fair interest rate with them. I have found the same car at other dealerships for at least 8 grand cheaper, and with interest rates at close to half what this dealership wanted to give me. DO NOT BUY from them!
