We ordered a plant for a friend Thursday evening 08/13/20 in Puerto Rico from Pro Flowers.com. We received an e-mail that the plant we ordered was not available and to choose a different one. We chose a different plant. Saturday morning 08/15/20, we received an e-mail from Pro Flowers that our order is scheduled for delivery today. At 11:28 am on Saturday, I received a call that they could not find a florist to fill our order. These flowers were for a funeral. I informed the representative that I would not use FTD or Pro Flowers, would report to Better Business and I requested to speak to a Supervisor. I was put on hold, then told that the Supervisor was on the line and put on hold again. I waited a minute and hung up. I tried to submit information to Pro Flowers, but no order existed. How can you call someone on the day the plant are to be delivered that there is no florist available? How can it be ready for delivery at 5 am and no florist at 11am? Informing me on the day of the funeral makes it impossible for me to order an arrangement from somewhere else. The person who was supposed to receive this plant for the funeral will not receive it. There is no excuse for the poor customer service and how this was handled. The website has a guarantee of flowers and flowers are good for seven day. I think this needs to be removed from the website because there is no guarantee that the flowers will be delivered. User's recommendation: I would not recommend ordering from this company.
