Delay of distribution after closing with no notification

I closed on April 7, Amrock took the amount due them on the 8th and by the fifteenth I had received no final disbursement. When I called I was informed that there was a disbursement delay and given a specialist. Kat then informed me that they did not have a payoff for the credit union loan that was to be paid off with the new mortgage. Why it was not addressed before now is what I would like to know. My loan payment to the credit union is due today and since I have never been late on any payments, I was very upset. Kat said they would cover the late charge but I did not want to mess up my credit. A very stupid solution. In addition, there were other checks in very small amounts that were not sent out and I do not know why. All in all, a very disturbing closing experience and one that I will not tolerate again. I am paying my credit union loan payment today since I do not have the payoff check. Your staff really needs to learn how to follow through with a closing, rather than just taking the funds due your organization. User's recommendation: Go somewhere else.
