Original review updated by user Apr 23, 2021 This evening I purchased Mainstays 4qt pan from a local Walmart. My boyfriend then proceeded to use the pan to brown ground beef. The pan melted and caused holes to form in the bottom, sadly unbeknownst to my boyfriend. It caused an explosion. It destroyed the stove/oven. Grease had leaked into the eye of the stove and started a fire, as well as shorting out the lights in the house. This is absolutely unacceptable. My boyfriend is lucky to be alive. User's recommendation: Do NOT buy this pan, or from this brand at ALL.
