Deceitful & Fraudulent Practices

1

Our company signed up under SalesForce in 2017, under the guise that the platform would help our small business. This was not the case, as the services rendered were unhelpful and unnecessary. We decided to end our business with Salesforce after the 12-month contract period was expired; however, Salesforce had other things in mind. They automatically renewed our contract after we specifically requested cancellation of their services. Multiple phone calls, and emails to their customer service department ALWAYS ended with "cancellation rejection" notices from their billing department. This company makes the decision on whether or not you cancel their services, rather than allowing the consumer to decide. Salesforce hides clauses in their Master Service Agreement, edits signed PDF after-the-fact to back up the clauses in their Master Service Agreement, and proceeds to make your financial decisions for you. After demanding cancellation, revoking authorization, threatening escalated action, filing complaints with the FTC, OCCC, and Texas Attorney General's office, Salesforce has hunkered down in *** and brought outside parties to fight their (losing) battles. Our recommendation is that you research this company's BBB profile and Consumer Action Report before considering this "front" for business services. We regrettably stand as examples.
