As a long term Giant customer I was delighted when the Nature's Promise line was offered. Finding the Country of Origin of the organic frozen broccoli on the package was very difficult. It was in a tiny print and a hard to find location. No wonder: the country of origin for organic frozen broccoli is China. Shocking and unacceptable. How long has this broccoli been in transit? Encased in off-gassing plastic? It is my understanding that perishable agricultural commodities according to COOL regulations in MD are required to be provided with legible statements in a conspicuous location where they are likely to be read and understood by a customer. I have alerted my friends and stopped buying Nature's Promise products.
