I had a security co. for 8 yrs that was bought out by BRINKS. When I tried to cancel, it was in my dead mothers name. I sent them the obituary and had the equipment removed. They still would not cancel. I called them so many times. First they said obituary needed, then they changed their story stating I was on a contract for two more years of service. So when they sent me to collection, the agency said it was because I didn't give them notice in writing. I had the proof from old emails, but the collection agency said it would not help. DO NOT GET BRINKS. User's recommendation: NOT NOT GET BRINKS.
