Couchsurfing charged without consent

So on the 19th of August 2021, I logged into my Couchsurfing account and They said I need to give them my credit card details to "Verify My profile". so I did and right after I saw a $60 withdrawal from my account. There was absolutely no mention of a charging fee when I did that. I contacted their Team right after and they told me "Refunds are not available for any Couchsurfing Verification purchases after May 14th, 2020." This is robbery in daylight.
