Concerning dropped trailers

MOST of the TA truck stops will not let a truck driver drop their trailer, drivers sometimes need to do this to go to a local store or to a pharmacy or take care of business. A large percentage of drivers only get home once every 6 to 10 weeks some even longer. There needs to be a policy that will allow dropped trailers for short term or charge by the day.
