I have been banking with the bank at my local branch for 10 years, and I almost never have had any issues. Easy opening of credit cards, checking and savings accounts, decent mortgage loans. Most of all I like my local general manager, who has been with the branch 15 years, as he says. I know that some of the local banks, more family-style, offer better mortgage rates than major players but I still opted for getting a mortgage with my local manager, and it is all because of the amazing staff. One recent issue with the branch is that the waiting time to get to even a greeter has become unbearably long due to recent events. Having said that, I still do not consider swapping my baking products to some other institution.
