It's official, I am condemning The Commons Apt on Oaktree in Norman. DO NOT LEASE WITH THESE IDIOTS!!!! They have no idea what they are doing, they have bedbugs in some of their rooms, they have roaches that they can't get rid of ( I moved into one apt that was nice, affected by water damage from the building next to it catching on fire, and the next apt I was moved into had roaches, dirty carpet, dirty cupboards, and filthy old tile--I finally got rid of the roaches myself with Combat). They don't fix things (such as AC units, dryers, or washers), they don't clean out their lint vents from the dryers, which is a fire hazard and most likely why they had 3 or 4 units burn down last summer (lint is combustible). They say they are going to do things then don't do it (such as add someone as an occupant) which in turn caused them to try to evict me for having an "unlawful tenant". The person who is in control of the payments is absolutely ***, the manager is a cheap, rude, *$!%^&*, who has no idea how to do her job or keep up with what needs to be done to keep the apts in order. Please spread the word, you will regret moving here.
