Clear my Credit Reports

My husband and I purchased a vehicle for our daughter and she did not make the payments. We were unaware of this. The car was repo'd but the letter was sent to an address we never lived. We were never given the opportunity to make the payments as the legal owner. The account was turned over for collections and we did a settlement in April of 2010 with Allied International Credit in Glen Allen Virginia. HSBC received the payment and it has been credited to the account. Now AR Management is calling for more money because this was not registered as a settlement. This is still not cleared from our credit as paid. I have faxed the information several times to AR Management and nothing is done. What do we need to do to get this cleared. We have done what we promised. Betty Coffman
