Charging me for a brand new gym that opened during the pandemic

I signed up for a new gym before it even opened - and was told that I would not be charged at all until I activated my membership by visiting the gym IN PERSON. They opened in the middle of a pandemic and as such I never visited the gym or activated my membership, yet they've been charging me for 6 months!! It is impossible to get in contact with someone to cancel my membership and get my money back! This is robberyI User's recommendation: don't ever give then your credit card information!!!!
