-store 1532 windcrest, tx 78239 telephone #[protected]. -April 25, 2021 time between 1pm and 1:25pm cash register 4. -young female cashier- early 20's, long dark haired latina with lots of make-up. -termination of employee. In the retail business all cashiers are to be trained no matter what register they are assigned at to deliver exchanges or refunds. The lines are ridiculous to begin with waiting 20-30 min to be cashed out, upon my arrival at register 4 I asked the young lady very politely if she could assist me in an exchange, her words were exchanges are registers 1-2-3. So I said other cashiers have assisted me with no issues can you please make the exchange. she said i dont do that. i said oh so you dont know how to make exchanges, she said i do I'm just not going to do it. instead of her politely saying i cant assist you on that, what i can do for you is send you to register 1-2-3 and they can assist you on that issue. i was dumbfounded on her blunt response. so i repeated to her, youre just not going to do it then? and she said yup. so i responded thank you for not making the exchange. she said you're welcome very smug. so there i went waiting in line for 15 more minutes. the other customers were also complaining about the managers attitude in assisting with questions. the manager wouldnt even stop to listen she would walk off and respond with short answers. when it was my turn to make the exchange i went to register 3 which the cashiers name was Bobby(Assoc # 2069813), very sweet boy i might add(also heard the entire incident) i asked if he could make the exchange because she didnt want to do it and he said sure i can help you with that. and she said no i didnt i told you only register 1-2-3 do that and i said thats not all you said you said you're just not going to do it. i told her in retail the customer is always right and she said no youre not and i said yes i am. she then proceeded to use foul language and told me "no youre not you stu*id f***ing b****!" i was in awe, the only thing i could do was laugh and told her that is the way you speak to customers? and continued on to ask where the manager was. she got even more mad and left the register. i dont know if she figured she was automatically fired or went to the ladies room. have no idea. Bobby conveyed several times apologizing for her actions. he asked if i wanted to speak with the supervisor and i told her the incident. she said exchanged are on 1-2-3. after i had told her the foul language the young cashier had called me. she said oh! well... and asked Bobby where the young girl was at. i honestly dont know if the manager confronted the young girl on the situation, my honest opinion is probably not. the supervisor didnt even apologize for the young girls rudeness. i believe Bobby, only working there one month did a better job at handling the situation and should be promoted as supervisor of store #1532. thank you so much for your time.
