I took my 99 Bonneville which was dieing while driving to Precision Auto in Apple Valley, MN. Told them my issues, dropped it off, knowing I wasn't trying to throw more parts at it, but needed it a few more weeks. They quoted me $600 and I was like...did you NOT hear me? I am a female, I know the car is old, but I also know my stuff. I worked at a shop. I asked if they figured out what was making it stall out while driving. They said yes they were pretty sure it was a fuel valve leak being my problems started after a fuel pump was put in. Also I needed Valve Cover Gaskets. Knowing now, neither service *** was a fix. I passed on the leaking oil, said yes to the fuel relay and hose and $300. But it better NOT stall out driving home. Sure enough a few days later, same damn issue seemed to get worse. Called the owner, dude said bring it in, but OBVIOUSLY, he didn't care if I DIED on the way there he wasn't even *** there all weekend. Called the *** Monday. He said look you waited to call. I said.. No Sir. Your *** wasn't there. He said tow it in, I asked why? You didn't fix the *** before your *** will probably make it worse. Cussed him out, and was done. Sure enough, on my damn Carfax report, they have Precision as my Favorite Shop, and that they had it back in there a few weeks after they charged me $300 for NOTHING, tried to charge me $60 good thing I didn't. Precision and Carfax can kiss *** Take that *** off. I should be the one to Favorite my Mechanic! Carfax hasn't removed shot.
