Card doesn’t work and there’s 0 information on how to fix that

I received an email from someone else gifting me a Vanilla card. I click on the link in the email to get to the card, but it always says system error. There's no recourse for fixing the issue. I don't want to have to tell the person who gifted this to me that they wasted their money, but... User's recommendation: Avoid.
