Cannot (or will not) replace defective socket wrench

1

Received a socket wrench that is a deep access wrench. I contacted Craftsman and supplied the part number. They referred me to Sears. I called Sears and they referred me back to Craftsman because they no longer keep this tool but said Craftsman does. I contacted Craftsman again and they tried to give me a socket instead of a socket wrench. I'm just lucky I caught that little detail before agreeing to it. Now I'm stuck with an unusual designed socket set that I cannot get a replacement socket wrench for. I guess it doesn't matter since it's not their socket set that will end up in the garbage. Craftsman tools are not what they once were and neither is their "Lifetime" warranty. User's recommendation: Avoide Craftsman hand tools at all cost.
