Cancelled cruises
3
We initially booked an Alaskan cruise a couple of years ago and it was cancelled when Covid hit. Norwegian was very good and gave us additional credits towards a new cruise. We ended up booking an European cruise for this June and it was just cancelled again. There was no offer of anything for our trouble or for them holding onto our money for two years. Just basically it sucks to be you. As well, we have to book another cruise by December 2021 or they not only cancel our credits but keep all of the money that we have paid them. Upon looking for the same cruise, it is not available, and if we are going to book a cruise for next year, we are going to have to settle for something that is not as exciting or anything near what we were looking for. As well it will be higher than the credits we currently have. We have had to cancel hotel rooms, air flights, (another $8000.00 that will be held as a credit) and Norwegian is says they are so sorry, but obviously could care less about what we are having to deal with. I understand that Covid is not their fault but it is not mine either. A refund is not an option even though they have held our money for two years now and will have it another year. Norwegian was always our favorite cruise line but we are so disappointed in not being able to take even a similar cruise next year that we will settle for something else and definitelyKnow that refunds are not an option make it our last voyage. User's recommendation: Very poor policies with regard to customer care.
