Can not get REFRESH YOUR CAR to work

I purchased REFRESH YOUR CAR and can not get the unit put together to use it. The instructions are not very good. I have tried to put the hanger in several different ways and have not been successful. I would like a detailed description as to how I am supposed to do this installation. thank you for your attention jill User's recommendation: do not buy unless you have a masters in widgits.
