Calligaris Wien (a k a Vienna) cha
1
We bought 12 new Wien / Vienna chairs around 2012. After like three years and two months three of them had broken off (where the aluminium meets the plastic back support). Both times the seated person fell backwards, among them my 70 year old (like 70 kilos thin) grandfather. I contacted Calligaris customer service, but they told me they had hear of no such problems with this model despite selling them in large amounts. And since slightly more than three years had passed any compensation was out of the question. And on it went in this manner during a decade. About one Wien / Vienna chair has broken per year. In a family of quite thing people, ehere nobody weights more than 80 kilos. And this year the last one of the twelve chairs broke. All twelve broke in the same way, where the aluminium meets the plastic back support. About six persons have fell backwards - and these Calligaris chairs are a permanent joke among our friends. High quality profiled companies should have a high profile customer service and ditto after sales policies. Calligaris does not deliver either on product quality or after sales policies. Avoid.
