Buyer Beware, Raining Blossoms SCAM
Online shopping is always somewhat of a risk... shopping online for a wedding dress must make me crazy. Well, that's the nature of the beast when you live in a town with zero options and are limited for time as well. Being that we are having a small wedding, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a dress, but nothing cheap ever. So it seemed like a dream when I came across rainingblossoms.com which has lots of cute styles at reasonable prices (but not cheap by any stretch.) I stumbled across the exact design I had envisioned, and after much debate, decided to make the plunge. I knew it would be a wait, but the dress took well over a month to arrive, and it arrived in a tiny bag that would barely fit a pair of folded jeans. I was horrified when I pulled out the dress, and it did not have even a slight resemblance to the photo I saw online. The fabric was cheap, cheap, cheap, like if I was really to wear this frock I would be concerned about catching on fire. Of course, when I attempted to contact the seller, I received no response, even though they had been emailing me the whole wait time to let me know it was coming. Total Chinese factory scam! It really makes me aware that there is a whole world full of shady, money-hungry, oppressed people just salivating at the opportunity to rip anyone off. Luckily I really do believe in karma, because I'm definitely never going to see the 400$ I wasted on this gaudy POS dress. Oh yeah, it's only my once-in-a-lifetime wedding, no big.
