Bought package of Purdue chicken from Walmart. After emptying the chicken I realized how heavy packaging was. Padding was measured at 3/4 of an inch in depth stuffed full of juice or jelly substance. I got out my scale and weighed the padding and container at a whopping 11 ounces! I weighed my chicken and sure enough I am paying for the chicken plus all the padded weight. Both together was the exact weight on package but I was paying .2125 cents an ounce for that thick huge chicken pad! So basically I paid 2.34 cents for water/gel filled padding!!!!!! Shame on you Perdue! User's recommendation: Check other brands!
