Used HA out of convenience. Quoted $453.00. Plumber was good, no problems. I had 3 splits in a 1/2 inch copper line that were repaired using Shark Bites couplers. Plumber showed me his increased cost due to storm and overall gouging of $30.00 each. I paid him $90.00. Normally this coupler around $10 each. HA paid him 240 for this job. Subtracting his fee of 240 from my bill of 453 leaves HA $213, not including the $90 I paid. Justify the fee HA collected. I do understand The fee quoted is a guesstimate based on the homeowner inputting limited information without eyes on. I understand a middleman administrative fee, seriously though $213 for simply making a contact. Feel ripped off. Total to me cost $543.00 for normally $30 in parts a couple of hours of labor. Everything was accessible, cleaned up and in clear view.
