Burned out electronic controls on range
1
We purchased a gas range from Warners Stellian a year and half ago. A couple of months ago, we decided to clean the oven using the "Clean" setting, according to the directions in the manual. After we did this, the oven would beep every ten seconds or so while it was preheating. Annoying, to say the least. We called WS and scheduled a service call in our home. $99 for the diagnostic visit, but we were assured the money would be applied to any future repair. Technician came, we described the issue, and he then told us, without even having to look at the oven, that our electronics in the oven were "burned out" because we had cleaned it. Because we had used the factory setting to clean it. Apparently this is an issue with this oven. Told us it would be it would be $300 for the part/labor to fix it. And the $99 diagnostic fee would not be credited to the repair, so we would be out $400 for being trusting enough to use the appliance cleaning feature. We are currently remodeling our kitchen and will be purchasing appliances... But most certainly not from Warners Stellian. User's recommendation: Be wary of doing business with Warners Stellian.
