Broken dehydrated trays

I need to replace my trays. I called Ronco they told me they are not in stock. I can buy a new dehydrator for $38.00. 2 trays that I saw on Amazon was $25.00 is. I'm not sure why they broke apart. They were very brittle. The heating element is working just fine. Any help I can get from you would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Sandi Meringolo. Lasvegasmema1@***.com.
