Briggs and Stratton make politicians look innocent
1
I bought a mower and the extended warranty for $400. The electric start did not work, even after charging for 24 hours before the first use. First time I used it, I managed to cut 8' of grass before the motor locked up. I had to take it to the repair shop. Briggs and Stratton refused to uphold the warranty and I was told I would have to pay $300 to fix the problem that is a common issue with Briggs and Stratton engines. Don't make the same mistake. Don't buy this brand. User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY.
