I applied with Boomer Benefits in Apr 2018 Boomer Benefits is an insurance brokerage that provides supplemental Medicare benefits for senior citizens . Prior to my approval, Mutual of Omaha withdrew over one hundred dollars. Boomer Benefits connected with Mutual of Omaha regarding payment fees from their customers and applicants. However, the Boomer Benefits failed to disclose that prior to approval the money could be withdrawn. Boomer Benefits has a Five Star rating and rejected me when I expressed my concerns that Mutual of Omaha withdrew their application fee prior to my approval. I was informed of this prior to Boomer Benefits rejected me even though I was approved the following day. Had the Boomer Agent explained this I never would have contacted them, and could have assumed I was approved. Despite Boomer Benefits has a stellar Five Star rating the first individual I spoke with was rude and when I mentioned I could not complete their form on-line I even suggested I would go to my library and have the forms printed!. All the supposedly stellar Five star ratings on-line reflecting tremendous customer service, what happened when I tried to become a customer?. Contrary to the reviews stating nothing but great customer service consisting of wonderful agents explaining the whole procedure of treating their customers in wonderful helpful ways and addressing their problems, questions or concerns of applying for supplemental Medicare coverage, this was not in my case.! Bottom Line, I was rejected by Boomer Benefits with my money already deducted from my checking account.! Now I have to wait for a refund from Mutual of Home Bank ( I do hold them responsible for this unpleasant incident). Five Star Rated Boomer Benefits displayed to myself nothing but an arrogant and selfish attitude when I tried to re-apply they refused!. I was approved and money was deducted from my checking account. I have to wait for a refund from Mutual of Omaha for a refund!. I would suggest applying for supplemental Medicare coverage with another company involving supplemental Medicare coverage!. My unpleasant experience with Boomer Benefits is contrary to their Five Star Rating. Ratings mean nothing, poor quality customer experience negates Five Star Ratings!!!!!!!!! Debbie
