Booking of hotel room

I made a booking for a hotel room at the Ibis Styles London excel for 18th June 2020. Due to covid the hotel was closed and I therefore couldn't stay. This booking was to go to an event at the 02. I contacted booking.com to defer the booking to 17th June 2021. Days before this i rang the hotel to confirm things with them to be told the hotel was closed for refurbishment. I obviously then had nowhere to stay. I have emailed and telephone on several occasions, being told someone would email/telephone me back to no avail. I just want a refund. Please can you look into this for me. My original reference for the booking was [protected]. I have all the emails confirming the change of booking etc. Regards Zoe Horwood
