If you are looking for an iPhone app for your business that can be used as a second phone line and to send SMS, steer clear from BestLine (possible creator Ostap Kharlamov), which is now being called Call Recorder. I Furkat Kasimov, am writing this complaint because I was part of a scam situation with the company. When I first found the app, it was advertised that the cost of a second phone line for a 365 day plan would cost just $7.99 for minutes and SMS. I thought this was a great price so I downloaded the app to soon discover that this scammer of a company would bill me at the price of $45.97. I then discovered that the $45.97 charge came on on two different Apple receipts. The first receipt listed Second Phone Number BestLine, 365 days plan $7.99 and the same line item with a different price: Second Phone Number BestLine, 365 days plan. The second receipt had another charge: Second Phone Number BestLine, 365 days plan $7.99. I was first billed on October 31, 2018 and then again on November 4, 2018. If youve used BestLine, be sure to check your receipts I almost missed that second charge and neither hit my account right away like other Apple purchases. The additional charges were billed in less than two months after I prepaid for the numbers. On top of being billed two separate prices at two different times that were not advertised accordingly, I was not able to login into the app or reset my password. When I tried to login and reset my password, an error message came up noting that I dont have an account. I then deleted the app and tried to download it again. Upon trying to download it multiple times thereafter, I learned that the app was no longer available in the US App Store so I tried to contact Apple and the app creator for assistance. The apps creator was listed as Ostap Kharlamov and I questioned if this was even a real person. There was no email or phone number anywhere that I was able to locate for the so-called Ostap Kharlamov, despite my extensive research. Although Apple did eventually refund my account, the entire ordeal was a huge headache. All I needed was a simple service that offered a second phone line with SMS for business purposes and instead I got a headache and was put into a scammer situation by a company that did not charge me as advertised. At the time I purchased this app, I did not see any complaints for it but since my experience, was able to locate over 40 others, some complaining that it stopped working, is a scam, has bad customer service, and that additional charges were made. I do not recommend BestLine and urge consumers to take caution before purchasing any apps. User's recommendation: stay away.
