Battery failure Open recall for lift gate Vin:JM3KFBCMXL0765519
Contacted Mazda 7/26, 1:15pm, EST 800-222-****. Rep at ext 1125., regarding battery failure on 7/12 and 7/17 2021. Looking for reimbursement for new barttery, installed by AAA. Rep did not inform me there is an open recall on the lift gate, causing battery drainage. Poorly informed Customer Service Rep. How can she properly advise customers, if even she is not well informed. Also gave her my vin # JM3KFBCMXL0765519. She had all the info she would have needed, to see that there was an open recall. I worked in Customer Service, in the medical field, for 25 years. Thank goodness I was properly trained and informed about my product. Giving the wrong info out to medical people, could have cost someone their life. I would deeply appreciate a prompt response
