Batteries with expiry date as 2024 and 2025 have started leaking and damaged electronic devices

Hope you all are doing good. I have been using DURACELL BATTERIES since decades and have always been a satisfied customer. However recent experiences with DURACELL is really bad. I have purchased AA and AAA batteries in good quantity (around 15 each) as I have use these batteries in wall clocks, remote controllers, torches, games etc. The expiry of these batteries are 2024 and 2025 respectively however these batteries have started leaking and damaged a remote control and video game of my son. I have checked other batteries which I have kept for future use and found those batteries in same situation. Batteries kept for future use are also leaking and getting damaged by own and I am not sure of the reason. I am surprised how such expensive batteries are getting leaked and damaged despite expiry dates of 2024 and 2025. Thankfully, other electronic devices are saved and I have immediately fetched out these DURACELL BATTERIES from those devices. Kindly look into it and support. Feel free to reach me in case you need any further information. I can be reached at this email address or at my cell phone +91-9650****40.
