My fridge went out, called Sears, tech came out pretty quickly but could not fix. Told me Sears would give me check for $500 toward new fridge, as did about 5 other people I talked to. Customer service was 40+ min hold time before I hung up about 6 times so far. When you get a person they apologize and transfer you to (and give you )numbers that are NOT working numbers. But you dont know this until you are on hold forever and try dialing yourself! Ive been told the check has been cut, on its way, should be there within 21 business days by 9/29, etc. Yesterday I was told they dont send out checks, but only give you credit with Sears! There isnt even a Sears store in our large town! I paid $129 and $ 49.99Sept and Aug. Im cancelling the Sears Home Warranty plan and asking my Credit Card company to try to get a refund. User's recommendation: Run!!!
