Bad Faith Insurance

6/14/2019, Filed A/C repair claim with Fidelity National Home Warranty. The claim was denied because they said the unit was still under manufacturer warranty. The manufacturer warranty is parts and labor for 1 year and parts only for 5 years, the unit is 3 years old. Fidelity's contract states "The service contract provides coverage for such items once the limits for any existing other contract warranty or insurance policy covering the items are reached". The parts part is in effect but the labor part of the manufacturer warranty has expired, so Fidelity should cover the cost of labor. I filed an appeal and after 11 days of calling and without air conditioning, I still had not received an answer to my dispute. Ripoff, in one year I have filed 4 claims @ $75.00 each and 3 have been denied plus the yearly fee of $400.00.
