Bad delivery of purchased vacuum

I ordered a vacuum cleaner. It was to be delivered to my house. It was not delivered on the date promised. When I called I was told It was being delivered Via usps. I said it should not be delivered to my post office since I could not pick it up. I was told it would be delivered to my house. It was not. It was delivered to the post office. I am elderly and have limited ability to go to the post office. I should have ordered from amazon prime. User's recommendation: Do not get delivery.
