Ive had Shell Credit Union Accounts for years and I also use Chase Bank. I have a small side business and I normally deposit money into chase. Now chase will put a 2 day hold on my deposit, but at least release a few hundred dollars and acknowledge the balance vs availability. Not Shell. It says posted doesnt reflect anywhere and Im still waiting on my bonded check to be credited. No release of a small amount at all. User's recommendation: Be careful, ask credit unions how long they hold your checks for.
