Save your money, here's the real issue- These are four and five-star resorts being managed by a two-star management company. - Trying to book rooms is a hassle. - Trying to confirm you are getting the best rate is difficult to impossible. - If you use a travel planner they ignore your membership privileges. - I canceled a reservation made with my AMEX card and they said it could up to six weeks to issue a refund. Zero respect for their customers. - Tried visiting 4-6 locations to preview sites for a wedding- no centralized booking- they said to call each hotel. As I said upfront, this is not a five-star management operation. Their hotels are lovely, but the AM Resorts customer service model is inefficient and focused on the needs of the company and not the customer. If you like that model, then go ahead and join.
