My account was suspended for no obvious reason - in fairness I think by someone who had bad day in the office, otherwise they will have a reason. Since the suspension each time I contact Gumtree they don't know why my account was suuspended and my ad removed but they keep repeating the same thing "they can remove any ad and their decision is final and cannot be appealed against" The funny thing is, if they had a good reason, they will know what it is but they clearly dont, and clearly no one from "management" reviewed their decision, as they claim. What is unclear to me is why the feel that such a poor traetment of users is good for their company, I know they are huge and making loads of money etc, nevertheless when companies treating users poorly the word gets aroung! I advertised the same product, mobile phone, through Ebay and it was sold successfuly and i received a great feedback. So I wrote to the CEO of Ebay so he is aware of the unfair treatment of their newly purchaeed company. I think its a shame the way Gumtree treat people!
