50% failure rate

Original review updated by user Apr 27, 2021 50% failure rate with Monroe OESpectrum PN 37231 Made in USA Out of 4 shocks which were primed 4 or 5 times with compression by hand, 2 had failed by not returning to extended position after repeated priming. Went to O'Reilly's and ordered 2, one was bad. Went to Merle's Auto Parts and primed the shocks right there at the store. Again, 1 was bad. Please explain 50% failure rate . Ended up buying KYB 34435 User's recommendation: D.
