4 month old laptop started smoking and died

i have a 4 month old gateway gaming laptop that started smoking and died while playing a game. i have tried contacting gateway via email, phone calls, support chats, to no avail. most of the time nobody answers any of the listed phone numbers. is there anybody who can help me? User's recommendation: dont buy a gateway computer, what good is a warranty if nobody supports it.
