I have a impact that quit working and the store will not replace it like there hassle free warranty says.They said i needed to get in touch with kobalt and have the original receipt details. That's hard to do when it was a gift and been 3 years. The people here working at lowes don't eve know that lowes owns kobalt. It is about 3 years old and when I pull the trigger it doesn't do anything except for the light flickering. Tested the battery with voltage tester and it is fully charged. User's recommendation: Go somewhere to buy your tools if you want them to last longer than 3 years. Cost too much to have to buy that often.
